We Value Questions
Question and Response | Why Public Faith? | Free Resources
We recognize that belief is hard and that it is worth acknowledging and wrestling with the questions, doubts, objections and skepticism around the Christian faith. We welcome both believers and skeptics to process their doubts and beliefs with the recognition that it is not sufficient to hold doubts or beliefs just because we inherited them. If you are interested in processing your doubts and beliefs or exploring Christianity, we welcome you to visit us on Sundays, at one of our events, or in one of our discussion groups.
“We are a church that values questions and the people who ask them. Why? Because questions lead to dialogue, dialogue fosters relationships, and relationships create community."
Question and Response
Each week we carve out time after the worship service for people to ask questions. You can text questions in anonymously, but we will respond and wrestle with them publicly — because we want to be a community that is learning and processing together. This is more than a rhetorical exercise, but a way of being an honest community. Each person behind each question matters.
We do believe God is knowable — but in the Bible we also see that God often makes himself most clearly known in response to peoples’ questions. So bold questions are what we’ll keep coming back to as, together, we seek both to understand and experience what the gospel is and does.
Join us on YouTube on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. for worship. Q&R takes place on a separate live YouTube broadcast once the premiere of the weekly service concludes.
Why Public Faith?
Redeemer has always had what we call an “outward face.” That means one of the most important aspects of Redeemer’s ministry is to be a place where people who don’t believe as we do can come and hear winsome, accessible presentations of Christianity and the gospel that are both plausible and credible. And while this outward face is essential to Redeemer as a church, the idea is also essential to each of us individually as we seek to bring the hope and joy of the gospel to our friends, neighbors and co-workers.
Learn why Public Faith is one of our core values and why it’s so important to our future.

Questioning Christianity series
Questioning Christianity is a six part series, for seekers, skeptics and those exploring Christianity. This series provides a safe and open space to explore the toughest claims of the Christian faith with friends who don’t identify with the Christian faith and are open to learning more. Each subject builds on the previous, and each is concerned with the larger question, does Christianity make sense emotionally, culturally and intellectually.
